Charming stay with delightful views

Waking up to a stunning ocean view across the road was a breath of fresh air. The kitchenette was incredibly useful, making it easy to prepare simple meals. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the cleanliness of the room stood out.

Parking was a concern, with a small lot that can be crowded at peak times. Also, check-in is strictly by 9 PM, which might pose a challenge for late arrivals. I noticed a lack of cleaning supplies for the kitchenette.

The room had an old musty smell and shabby furniture. The shower pressure was very weak, and I ran out of warm water on my first try. Additionally, the awkward positioning of the toilet was uncomfortable.

the bathroom fan didn’t work, leaving the room feel humid, which is just charming. also, it’s astonishing that my room had no plugs beside the bed, making charging my devices a true adventure.

Nestled by the waterfront, this quaint motel impressed with its cleanliness and top-notch service. Friendly staff even offered an upgrade at no extra cost! Just a walk away from delicious restaurants and shops, I particularly loved watching seals in the nearby park. For a peaceful retreat, this place checks all the boxes.

Housekeeping needs to be more consistent!!! A thorough cleaning is essential—freshening up dusty fixtures and addressing the greasy kitchenette would elevate the experience greatly!!!

I enjoyed the cleanliness and convenience of the room, which featured a lovely kitchenette. The location was unbeatable, right across from a charming waterfront park and surrounded by delightful shops and restaurants.

While my stay was delightful, some renovations were underway during my visit.

The location is fantastic, right across from the beautiful Cowichan Bay. Each room has its own kitchenette complete with essential appliances like a fridge, a stove with oven, and a microwave, making meal prep a breeze. Plus, the view of the bay from the balcony is simply stunning!

Free parking was a plus. The flat-screen TV had poor reception.
